Shelton Washington Christmas Trees

About Us

Our family has lived in the Shelton Valley for four generations. In 1966, we moved to our current ranch and have raised our four children here. Bob grew up on a farm just down the road. We milked Jersey Cows and operated a grade A dairy here for twenty years and increased our herd of Black Angus beef cows. While still in high school, Bob started working for a local Christmas tree grower and over the years became experienced and well educated in the Christmas tree business. We planted our first trees in 1980. We also have several plantation fields located in Mason and Lewis counties, with Noble Fir being our primary seller.

Gail passed on her love and knowledge of horses to their children. For several years, we bred and raised a number of fine Quarter horses. Our grandchildren now ride and show some of those which we kept. We also have a string of Shetland ponies, Alpacas, Llamas, Pigmy goats. and last but not least, Buffalo. These animals are all a big part of our popular pony parties and farm visits. Our grandchildren and other 4-H Club members do a fine job of helping us with these activities.

Most of our family gets involved at the U-Cut Trees. We always look forward to seeing our regular customers and meeting new ones at this special time of year.
